Insights on TAM formation from a Boolean model of macrophage polarization based on in vitro studies

This study uses a Boolean model to simulate macrophage polarization in the tumor microenvironment. It successfully reproduces experimental results and predicts potential regulators, such as STAT1 and EGF, that could prevent the formation of pro-tumoral macrophages, offering new targets for immunotherapy strategies.
